CERT ltd launches Social Enterprise Humber

CERT ltd., a specialist social enterprise support organisation based in Barton upon Humber is now offering business support to new and established social enterprises across the Humber.

The new project, Social Enterprise Humber, aims to increase the number of new social enterprises started in the area and help existing enterprises to grow and prosper - benefiting communities and the local economy.

Neil King, a Director at CERT ltd said, “Thanks to support received from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery and the Connect Fund, we can now offer social enterprises bespoke assistance, delivered by qualified sector experts. We anticipate helping people to start their enterprises, grow their activities and to assist in attracting funding and social investment. As well as offering one-to-one support the project is also hosting a series of network events where people can come together to make new contacts and find out about the latest sector developments, masterclasses that take an in-depth approach to issues and a series of lunchtime briefings that seek to demystify topics in just 1 hour.”
