Eat Sleep Ride CIC

Eat Sleep Ride CIC are an accessible, community-led social enterprise based on the Southeast Scottish coastline operating from a 24-acre off-grid farm. They support people on their journey to wellness and empowerment through therapeutic, educational and community initiatives, using horses.

Their custom-built site invites the community to experience outdoor learning, educational and development activities, and equine experiences whilst reducing the impact on the environment.

Eat Sleep Ride offer a range of equine services such as ridden tuition, experience days, events and clinics, professional training pathways, arena hire, livery, clipping, horse training, backing, and rehabilitation services.

They also offer a range of non-equine services such as volunteering opportunities, employability training, alternative education provision, skills workshops, creative personal and professional development, health and wellness packages, and venue hire.

Funding from Postcode Innovation Trust, thanks to players of People's Postcode Lottery, was used to complete the construction of a sustainable tiny eco-house, enabling them to expand their market offerings by providing unique glamping accommodation. Additionally, the investment facilitated the comprehensive landscaping of the area surrounding the house, allowing them to renovate their existing yurts and create dedicated spaces for wellness retreats, event hosting, and immersive leadership experiences. These endeavours will directly contribute to the generation of more unrestricted revenue to support their charitable objectives.
