Lighthouse Futures Trust

Lighthouse Futures Trust are an innovative, specialist college that helps young neurodivergent people develop the skills & confidence to move into sustainable, paid employment.

They provide an innovative programme of activity including 1-1 support, workshops & seminars, external speakers, company visits and work placements. They recruit and train specialist staff who are compassionate about their work and provide a truly person-centred approach to help unlock the hidden talents of each and every student. 

They offer two core internship programmes – Pre-Internships & Supported Internships. Both of these help students move into paid employment. They also offer a range of support services & enrichment opportunities aimed at enhancing student experience. These include an on-site counselling service, employment transition support, social clubs and more.

Funding from Postcode Innovation Trust, thanks to players of People's Postcode Lottery, was used to purchase a building for their college, allowing them to increase student numbers and enable them to fulfil their vision of having a high quality, sector-based employability college that will continue to create positive outcomes.
