MiMe Heuristics (The Wildings)

The Wildings is an independent educational facility that focuses on the recovery from trauma and associated SEMH needs of young people and their families. It facilitates lifelong learning using a holistic approach.

With the recovery from adverse childhood experiences as a priority, the school is focused on therapeutic recovery and the rapid, resilient and sustainable development of associated Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. They provide a scaffold for young people to develop positive long-term outcomes and support families to stabilise and improve through targeted support.

Funding from Postcode Innovation Trust, thanks to players of People's Postcode Lottery, was used to purchase the school property and site they had previously been renting from private owners, helping secure their long term future and allowing them to increase the number of young people they can support.
