Social Enterprise UK (SEUK) are the biggest network of social enterprises in the UK. They have over 3,000 active members in their network that include the most significant organisations within the UK social enterprise movement from multi-million-pound health care and public service providers to community organisations and retail businesses.
SEUK are a leading global authority on social enterprise - they certify, research, broker deals, develop policy and campaign, all in support of their primary beneficiaries: social enterprises and social entrepreneurs working nationally and internationally.
SEUK are a strategic partner to six government departments and have led public policy on social enterprise for 15 years. They work with some of the biggest companies in the UK to support social enterprise through their supply chains, people and networks.
Social investment will be used towards the purchase of 'The Home for Social Enterprise', on Dock Street in London, in partnership with School for Social Entrepreneurs. The vision is for the building to be London's shared home for social enterprise and social entrepreneurs. They will create a place open to all, alive with ambition, rich in collaboration and productivity. The home for social enterprise and entrepreneurs will imagine and deliver the future of business and of society, and inspire others across the country and around the world.
