Established in 1952, the foundation offers a comprehensive range of services designed to support people with profound, multiple, acquired, or other disabilities, as well as their families and carers.

Garwood Foundation’s mission is to promote the care, welfare, interest, treatment, and advancement of education for people with disabilities. They strive to create a safe, warm environment where every individual’s abilities can shine, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.

The funding will be used to cover the capital costs for the development of the Garwood Foundation’s Rutherford School site, including a new hydrotherapy pool and changing rooms with external landscaping to provide a fully wheelchair accessible courtyard garden for students to enjoy
