Ethex match funding

Ethex were awarded £500,000 in 2020 to provide match funding for social investments on their crowdfunding platform. 

The funding helped to leverage additional investment from individuals, delivering the critical finance that organisations protecting people and the planet needed to deliver on the UK’s climate change ambitions, at the same time as presenting value for communities hit hard by the COVID 19 pandemic.

Over the past 5 years, Ethex’s community of over 16,000 everyday people have raised over £75 million in people-powered finance to help more than 100 community organisations and social enterprises scale and grow. Ethex investors come from all walks of life, ages and locations investing small amounts of money (from £50) in initiatives they believe in.
